To celebrate World EV DayTM, our UK Network Partner Shell Recharge will be hosting an EV Meet Up at their flagship EV Charging Hub in South West London.
Taking place on World EV DayTM, the Meetup will be running from 10am to 12pm and is the perfect opportunity to talk about EVs with other EV drivers! There is no registration required, just turn up, enjoy the event plus there will be free coffee!
This sustainably designed charging hub, situated in Fulham, has 10 ultra-rapid 175kW chargers and was once a conventional fuel service station like any other you see in cities and towns across the globe.
In designing the Fulham Road, the canopy is made from sheets of timber glued together which uses much less energy to produce and transport than steel whilst solar panels are built into the canopy roof to provide around a quarter of the site’s electricity needs. Whilst, electricity supplied to the EV charge points and the station are from 100% certified renewable energy sources.
